2 days!

I can't believe my wedding is so close! The ceremony tent and the reception tent are both up! The liner was put up in the ceremony tent today and all of the lighting. So exciting!

Here are some of the things I loved that will be incorperated at my wedding...

aisle staffiturs with crystals

A rose pedal aisle

Large bouquets at back and front of the aisle of phalaenopsis orchids

Fabric liner in the tent with open walls

A billowing fabric centerpiece at the aisle

First Bridal Shower

The first bridal shower that was held for me was absolutely gorgeous. Five of my moms closest friends held a beautiful luncheon for me. Here are some pictures from the event.

Menu Progress

A little more than halfway done with the menus..

Today the tent was set up at the Chagrin Valley Hunt Club. I haven't seen it yet but I was told it looks much bigger in person! So exciting! Four Days! 6,500 sq ft! Wow!

Knick Knacks

Yesterday the beautiful embosed napkins that I came in ordered. I ordered 1,000 napkins for cocktail hour and for the bars. I am assuming we will definitely run out! I also ordered matches to keep on the bars. I just thought they were practical and a keep sake people could use and remember our big day.. just for fun!

The Ring

When it came down to picking a ring for Jeff, I had a hard time! It's not easy choosing jewelry for men! It was so exciting when it arrived yesterday!!

Ceremony Pamphlets

Last night before going out to dinner, my mom and grandma came over to help me with all of my ceremony pamphlets. There were not a ton of things that I wanted to do entirely on my own, but since I wanted to  maybe get into the stationary business one day I decided to also make my ceremony pamphlets. Thanks for the help mom and Dee Dee! Now we have gotten 100 or so out of the way! 200 left!

I created the document then printed them all myself double sided. Then we cut ribbons and looped them through two hole punches. With the complexity of the menus I decided to make, I wanted to make these pamphlets easy!

More on Seating Arrangements

Organizing and creating the seating arrangements for a large wedding is not easy. It is taking me a lot longer than I thought it would! You have to make sure that each table has an even amount of girls and boys, that they are seated with those they would get along with, etc, etc, etc!!

My only piece of advice is if you have to do this one day.. don't!

Here is my 10 page excel spreadsheet, tent arrangement, and list of RSVP's.

Christmas in July

Jeff and I have been given an overwhelming amount of beautiful gifts from all of our wonderful family members and friends. We feel so blessed.. and how generous everyone has been!

One of my favorite wrapped gifts we have received thus far is below. The roses on top would make a beautiful practice bouquet for my rehearsal!

Post a comment if you'd like to know what was inside :)

The above picture makes me feel like it's Christmas in July! What beautifully wrapped gifts!

I took the liberty to make the menus for the wedding. I love doing anything "crafty" so I was happy to take on the task. With my love for being crafty comes my need to be a perfectionist. Not only am I perfectionist but there is not one bone in my body that likes to be mediocre. When it came down to choosing how to make my menus I had to pick the thickest paper,  a background green offset on ivory, gems, paper-stamps, and ribbon! I definitely did not make this an easy task for myself. Little did I know how long it would take!

Here are some shots of the needed supplies and the end result!

To make the above,  I used four different paper stamps. The issue with the thick paper is that the edges get frayed! I had to use scissors and cut around the edges one by one 600 TIMES! Yikes.

I am happy with the end result!
